Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through Literacy and the Arts. The Book Fair wil be open until 6:30 PM.

Paint (do NOT carve) a pumpkin modeled after your favorite book character.
Turn it in to the library by
October 21st.

Our staff spent a day in professional development with Oklahoma A+ Schools Institute. The day was spent focusing on how to integrate academics with the arts, and making learning fun and meaningful for our students.

Holly Shae is a 4th grader at Kriewald Road School of the Arts. She has a remarkable character, is responsible, loves her family and friends, and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She is an avid reader, loves poetry, and has a passion for writing! Holly’s dream is to become an author when she grows up, but it looks like she is already accomplishing her goals! Holly has had her very first book published called “Camp Misty Woods” which can be found on Amazon! Way to go Holly, we are so proud of you!

This summer our professional staff attended a week long summit with The Oklahoma A+ Schools Institute. "OKA+ works with schools to make learning more intuitive and fun. By integrating other academics with the arts, they help schools create an environment where every student can thrive."
